We love celebrating baptisms at Restoration City because of what they represent – new life in Christ!
As we read the New Testament, we see a clear pattern for baptism in the early church. After becoming a follower of Jesus, men and women would be immersed in water to signify the life changing nature of their decision to follow Jesus.
If you’ve never been baptised, we would encourage you to do as part of your discipleship to Jesus. If you were baptized as an infant, we want to respect the significance of that moment while still inviting you to consider what it would look like to be baptized now that you’ve made the decision to follow Jesus.
