If you’re a follower of Jesus, God has a role for you to play in His mission of restoration!
We want to help you discover how God has wired you to serve and connect you with meaningful service opportunities within Restoration City or through one of our external ministry partners.
There are plenty of opportunities to serve with one of our teams at Restoration City. We have internal teams that focus on serving the needs of our community and external teams that partner with incredible organizations to love and serve our city and the world. We think you'll find serving with one of our teams is not only a great way to make a difference but also a great time!

Serve Our Church
It takes a lot of people to make every Sunday happen at Restoration City. We are always looking for new people interested in serving on one of the following teams:
- Connect Team - This is the team that welcomes you every Sunday morning. They’re in charge of everything from parking, to the lobby, to following up with first time guests.
- RCC Kids - If you love kids, this is the team for you! We create a Sunday morning experience for kids from 8 weeks old - 5th grade and coordinate childcare for other events throughout the week. A background check is required.
- Production - This team is responsible for the Sunday morning experience in the theater. From loading-in to setting up to running sound or playing in the band, this team does it all.
- Worship - Lifts up the name of Jesus during our Sunday Gatherings through songs and music.
- Communications - Assists with marketing, graphic design, and communications efforts.

Serve Our City
We want Restoration City to have an undeniably positive impact on our community, city and world. To accomplish that, we partner with other ministries who are already doing great work. Please consider getting involved with one of our external ministry partners:
Gunston Middle School & George Washington Middle School
At RCC we’re passionate about reaching the next generation. One way we do this is by regularly serving Gunston Middle School (where we gather each week) and George Washington Middle School in various ways: prayer walks, one-on-one mentorship and tutoring, teacher care and appreciation opportunities, and even helping meet tangible needs like campus service projects and cleanup days. We believe this is one of the best ways for us to share the love and compassion of Christ to our local communities.
Arlington Food Assistance Center
AFAC is a community-based non-profit that provides supplemental groceries to over 2,200 Arlington neighbors in need each week.
Get involved by helping in food distribution, gardening, or bagging groceries.
Casa Chirilagua
Casa is a faith-based Christian non-profit serving alongside the Alexandria community to provide after-school programs and mentoring to the local children and serving their families. Get involved by volunteering for an after-school program or mentoring a child.
Community Lodgings
Community Lodgings’ works to lift families from homelessness and instability to independence and self-sufficiency through transitional housing, affordable housing, and youth education programs. Get involved by volunteering to help with an adult education class or tutoring a child.

Serve By Planting Churches
At Restoration City Church, we believe in partnering and supporting other church plants as we work together to fulfill the Great Commission. We hope to one day multiply and plant another church to continue pursuing this mission!
